I did a search of the forum and didn't find anything, a while ago i noticed the horn wasn't sounding when i pressed the remote button, thought might be a fuse or the horn itself, then i noticed the airbag light was on and the horn wouldn't sound when pressed. is there anything that would cause these two to fail at the same time. thanks for any responses.

 

I was out wheeling about 2 weeks ago. I noticed that my speedometer quit working and that I couldn't get the transfer case out of low range. After pulling and reinstalling several good fuses and relays that could have had anything to do with the speedo or 4x4 controls, I was able to start up and it all worked again. The H3 is a PITA at times with all the electronics. Disconnect the battery and reconnect it, and while the terminals are off, now is a good time to upgrade them to a heavy duty terminal set. Your H3 will love you for it and this might fix your problem for cheap.

 

Not for nothing but I just installed the in the grille off road light kit which requires you to take the fuse box apart. Well I can tell you the seal on that isn't all that weatherproof. I had to clean tons of junk out of the underside of mine. You may want to check yours.

 

Horn, check your fuse and the relay.

Airbag, plug into the oBDII port with a code reader.
