Just an Idea..

I haven't read all the threads on this subject..But at least let the car go over 2000 miles before you start tracking the Mileage..The drivetrain is still new and stiff to get anything accurate measure with less miles.

 

I am getting right about 17 mpg maybe 16.8

also i added the K&n intake kit, I have noticed more power , but not more ,pg,, probably because i drive more aggressively


2006 Black H3 with Luxury and Adventure Package.

 

a whopping 12.8 mpg. first tank though and all stop and go. I assume they have the speedo programmed correctly for the 33s on the adv package.

 

13.5 mpg. (city) average, and I'm getting about 17 mpg. highway, I have mine since July '05.

 

I've driven 2100 miles in mine and it's averaging 15 in mixed traffic and 16 on the hwy. I'm pretty careful w/ my driving habits... ie, I don't rabbit off the line and accelerate smoothly.
That's about what I got in my '03 Tahoe Z71 w/ the V8!
I love the styling, the ride, the handling, even the interior... Everything IMO was done perfectly except the marginally adequate engine that also gets bad gas mileage. Is it the 33" tires on the Adv Pkg that hurts the mileage perhaps?

 

JUST TURNED 3000 MILES AND 1ST OIL CHANGE, WITH AUTOMATIC AVG MPG IS 16.5, AT THIS POINT.HOPE IT WILL GET A BIT BETTER -- SOME HAVE GOTTEN 20 ON HIGHWAY AFTER 6K MILES. THOUGHTS?

 

I checked this carefully the other day and I am getting 13.5 with a 50/50 mix of hghway / city...

 

18.3MPG...Light footing it around town..Oil has been change at 1000 miles, the ODO now has 1800 miles.
