Default 2500-2700 RPM stall

Just to confirm that the torque converter stall with brakes is between 2500-2700 rpm for a 2006 H3.

Not sure. Never needed to launch the 3, it ain't going anywhere too quick anyway.

Side story. No reason to ever brake torque an H3, StabiliTrack will take care of that all by itself. I have witnessed two H3s explode a front half shaft while an uninformed spotter was telling an uninformed driver to brake torque through an obstacle.

Direct from the horse's mouth and witnessed by myself at the AM General Off-Road Course on their free spinning log obstacle. You just keep a constant RPM, above 1500 about 2K and StabiliTrack will transfer TQ from side to side, front to back, and/or diagonally to pull the truck through. Was actually a pretty cool way to demonstrate how it works. This is why H3s are pretty capable right out of the box even without a locking rear or front diff.

Thanks Doc Olds. It's more out of curiosity than need. I always check that out on new to me vehicles and thought it strange for it be so high. Is there a given reason for it to be that high?
