Default 2008 Alpha question

Superchips, airdoc and filter? Will you feel a difference in performance? Total cost looks like 650-700 for all 3 things, anyone have tried these upgrades. Also looking to open up exhaust if that would help. Thanks for any help

I don't have an Alpha, but I do have an airdoc, PCM for less tune (less commercialized superchips approach) and a cat back and they definitely helped! I would look into headers as well...

Go with the Superchips you'll be much happier than with the PCM. I have it and love being able to change settings when ever I want.

3, 08 Alphas so far:
Superchips Cortex, AirDoc and WIX filter here. Love the combo! Best part about the Superchips is that you can use any of the pre-set tunes, create your own or go back to the stock OEM tune that the unit stores for you. Best of all worlds! As far as the air filter, there are several threads on this. I tried a lot of different types and went back to the WIX.

Hope this helps!

I got the Cortex from Craigslist and the AirDoc gratis (I was the Alpha test mule).

I have seen used Superchips Flashpaq, you just have to make sure that the previous owner has installed their stock tune back into the unit. If not it is useless unless it's a Cortex. The Cortex can program multiple vehicles @ $99 per vehicle after the initial purchase.

Found a new superchips tuner on craigslsit for a good deal, once that is done I will get an airdoc... someone got one they want to give up?? I just put some H3 stuff for sale in the classifieds on here to get the airdoc, anyone need roof rails or a billet locking black fuel door?

I have a 2008 Alpha. I installed the Superchips tuner, Airdocs and K&N filter....Absolutely love it. Plenty of HP, Torque, very noticeable difference. I just drove the H3 towing my Jeep and carhauler from NE to Phoenix about 200 miles total. Hwy, mountains you name it. No problem. HIghly recommended!

Sorry that was 2000 miles not 200.
