Torsion bar info
Ok I’ve seen where people say not to go up over 23.5 inches from center of hub to fender, just curious as to why?? Putting cv joints at a weird angle? I put a 2.5 inch leveling kit on my h3, which includes spacers for the torsion bolts and extended shackles. I also installed new, longer shocks. After doing all that and leveling it back out, it came out to 24.5 inches, and I’m getting a small vibration when taking off at low speeds, turning a corner at low speeds, and going over a hill when the shocks extend out. Is that caused by the front being too high? Any help is appreciated

The short answer. Many of us here have been modding H3s for over a decade, and we are trying to help others learn from previous mistakes.
Those piece O chit leveling kits are a waste of $, the instruction in many of those kits said they allow up to 24.5". That came from people who made the kits, and never drove an H3 for 1000s of miles after installation. After many, many, many people trying that, virtually every one of them tore up stuff in the front drive train, like tie rod ends, half shafts, front diffs., OEM shocks, etc... not to mention they started steering like a horse drawn cart and bouncing all over in their highway lane.
With or without a leveling kit, the max front lift w/ stock A Arms is 23.5-23.6". Any more than that, get ready to work on replacing parts and ride like in a clown car. We have been there and done that, take it for whatever you want, but your current problems will get magnified over miles driven.
Welcome and good luck.

That slight vibration is coming from the CV joints in the Half Shafts. Imagine what that does long term to your front suspension and diff bearings/seals. Starts small, and grows over time, until stuff breaks down.

Now if you want it leveled (or close to it). you can do what most of us have done and adjust the torsion bar keys to get to that 23-1/2" measurement and still have that good ride.
