Default Is this 2006 H3 a good deal???

I re-posted my question here.
I was hoping to get some opinions here. I have the opportunity to buy a 2006 H3 white fully loaded. Ebony/Morocco leather, Adventure package, navigation, sunroof, last 6 of vin 318201, and only 60k miles. I did a rally good once over and found no signs of known issues. It was originally a lease from Laguna Nigel in So.Ca. so I sure it was house wife's pedicure taxi. Used car dealer will let me take it to a GM mechanic next week when I am off of work. Want them to do a complete inspection. He is asking 17,000 but I am sure he will take 16,000. Any thoughts????

Do your home work. read about the H3 on this forum and find out its flaws (like the radiator) and ask the mechanic to pay extra attention to those aspects and then buy it if you like it

I have a 2006 H3 with adventure package and a few small mods done myself. I am the second owner, bought it at 30k miles and its now at 52k miles. I havent had a single issue, my radiator has not leaked nor have I had the dreaded 06 head issues. Do your homework on it's history. If it's clean, I say it's worth it... but I also don't know current running prices on H3s.

Jump on it! even at $17,000 that is a smoking deal. I listed mine(2006 white adventure w/78k) for $17,850 on craigslist a few days ago and have had a couple inquiries so far. I just have the adventure, with some extras and it is pretty basic inside besides the moon roof and ebony/morocco cloth which is pretty sweet. The blue book on mine was anywhere from $17,100-$18,100. I listed mine cheaper than any dealers had theirs going for. If the dealer takes $16,000 then you are taking him! haha. Either way, you will be very happy with your purchase. I love my H3! I probably won't sell mine now because the value has taken a hit due to gas prices. The only reason i posted mine is because i have to use mine to commute 60 miles a day and my insurance has almost doubled because of 2 basic traffic violations. I feel like i am throwing money out the window on gas and insurance, but i don't care because i love it! Anyway good luck! and post it up if you get it.

Just remember it is a used truck. Expect to replace items on any old truck (yes, I'm saying an 2006 is old). I've owned my 06 since 05 and love it. I drove it stock for years, now all I do is upgrade it. Buy it, enjoy it and buy all the manual and keep it in good shape. It's only money and a Hummer is a toy.

I bought my 06 H3 in Sept 05 and the only expenses I've had have been routine maintenance and it (finally) needed a new battery last month. No problems whatsoever. Brutal use too...spouse's daily driver!

Good Deal! My 06 Boulder Gray base model w/sunroof, 60K miles is sitting at a dealership now at $16,998, just lowered from high $17K (not that they will get it - especially when I see the dummies have it listed as manual trans, so I suspect they are missing out on some lookers lol) - so I'd say thats a good deal for a Lux package.
