'06 H3 owner driving impressions of '07
My '06 is in for a new CV boot, and the dealership gave me a '07 for a loaner. The victom, I mean rental, has the 3.7 that we all know it has. The power is better then the 06 to the point that it doesn't downshift at the slightest addition of throttle at freeway speeds. It seems to do better in traffic for stop light acceleration. The transmission seems to shift better then my 06 as well. The little cubby hole in front of the shifter is about big enough for some loose change, and maybe a pen or two. My sunglasses don't fit there, if that gives you an idea of it's size.
Over all, if I were buying right now, I would go for the 07 becasue of the power. It isn't that significant, but it's just enough to be noticiable. I would be willing to bet that Dennis' reprogrammed PCM has similar performance, and that a good reprogram would net the same.
BTW, mine is an adventure and the loaner is a base.

it isn't enough of a differnece to make you want to trade. Like I said, if were in the market now, I would go for the 07 unless they wer going to make me a killer deal on a 06. Let's think unrealistic here and say they make no more changes for the next four years, and that is the only difference when my lease is up, I'll probably stay with what I have.

That is a sharp looking Peterbilt. If I were ever to own a tractor, a Pete is what I would want. Of my 800,000 or so commercial miles, most have been done in a Pete Just like that one. I would go for the 387 instead of the 379 in the pic. The 387 has more interior room and better aerodynamics. But the 379 is definately what a truck should look like.
The H3 looks good to.

I don't know. They took the sticker out of it. I was curious myself, so I looked around for it. If For those of you interested in such things, it doesn't have child safety locks either, so maybe they will be putting them in later.
