Wheel bearing hub

Hi guys!
im new on forum. Hope someone can help me. I have a 2008 h2 and i need to replace a wheel bearing hub. Should i go original for $700 or can someone recommend me a good aftermarket replacement? Thanks in advance if anyone answer.

Not sure where you found one for $800 but I found them from $99 to $350 here is a GM one.

I recently had this discussion here on the forum. Timken is the supplier of front hubs for our H2's. I installed these on my H2 earlier this year and no problems what so ever.

$200 each.

Thanks Zenith
Now do you guys think i should change the one or should i do both at same time. My h2 has now 133k 2008.

I was going to say I paid around $200 ea. I would do them both, its not very hard. Might as well replace abs sensors while you're at i and consider front brake job. Its all coming off anyway and it's all short money to do at once.

Just so you know, the ABS sensors are included with new hubs, just plug them in to the existing wire harness. Easy stuff.

Wow $800 for a wheel hub at a dealership. is that with install? This is why I will never go back to a dealership. Instead invested the $$ in many tools that I use all the time. Wheel hub replacement is a lot of work but can be done in your driveway. I replaced both of ours. Always go with ACDelco or GM stuff. I replaced the front axles with cheaper aftermarket crap before I knew better and they both busted at the boot grease all over. Lasted a little over a year that’s it. Lesson learned pay the extra for original parts.

ACDelco are a little over 300 bucks. I’d go with those and as someone already pointed out do the speed sensors. If breaks need to be done now it’s the time as well. Good luck.

the ACdelco are just repackaged timken bearings
