Default New guy, with some issues

I purchased a 75k mile 2003 H2 this past weekend. It was quite the adventure as I flew to Chicago and drove it back to Kansas City. Let's start with issue #1. One of the rear airlines rubbed on the exhaust and melted. The rear suspension was compressed the rest of the way home. Good times, anyway I found this kit:

Suspension Air Line Hose Extension Repair Kit HUMMER H2 2003-2009

Is this the way to go, or is there a better option?

Now, issue #2. Anytime I go over 67 MPH, the check engine light flashes. If I let off the gas, it will turn off completely. I scanned it, and there are no codes. I have not seen this before. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Now for fun part unrelated to the truck. While eating in St. Louis with some buddies, I somehow managed to break a beer glass in my hand, cutting off the tip of a finger, requiring an ER visit to get it stitched back on,. They whole trip lasted 24 hours. I had a buddy with me, so it was actually a nice little adventure.

Read on here, a LOT. Search for terms like common problems, things to watch out for, etc. Its an old truck (same year as mine) and it needs some care to really be what it should be and there are a lot of little things to watch out for and take care of.

If done - these are amazing vehicles to own and drive.

My first order of business would be to fix the air line. Most are going to tell you to scrap the air ride and swap spring in since the air ride is expensive to work on but its really not that bad if maintained and does give a better ride, especially if you ever tow anything.

Next up - full tune up. New AC Delco plugs, new plug wires, clean MAF and throttle body and see if the flashing goes away. Its slightly possible someone at some point used a hand held tuner and put a performance tune on it that needs premium fuel but I'd try to tune things up first and get someone with a Tech2 to do a crank relearn.
