I read somewhere about this as well. Hmm good question...

yea currently im buying an h3t for my trucking needs but when something like that comes out im definitely trading in the h3t for one of those!

you'll have to build it yourself....... pricey but possible...

I was at the dealer this last weekend, buying my H3 :) And talking with the salesman he said that they are anticipating both the H2 with the full bed and the HX in 2011 for the 2012 model year.

The new owner's of the Hummer Brand (the chinese dudes) have no plans of building new frames on the H2 platform at least in the USA. ...I do know from talking with a source at a AM general dealership (one of the few left) that the H2 SUV and SUT is only scheduled to produce limited (very limited) new model year H2's..the H3 is the primary goal now (sob) **the pic you see is a custom build not a production truck,

Lets dismiss the DURA myth yet again....

There are NO plans of building a Duramax production H2 thats concrete,,it would cost upwards of 80000.00 a unit...there is a greener type H3 and H3T engine in the works ,,maybe, if the new owners of the brand can dig out of the hole there in now. the HX from what I understand may be a hybrid type as well,to keep the Greenie's off the back...(it's looking jeepeer all the time).

. we all know the H2 hasn't made money in years..:-(

I fear the nice big H2 platform that we all love and own is slowly coming to a halt..that makes me sad because I truly love my H2,,and when it blows up I'll rebuild,,,bigger stronger faster.........frackin hippiees...frackin OPEC...frackin idiots

I'm sure this will not go over to well,,but that pic got my interest up and i investigated by talking with the people who make there living selling and repairing them,,there positive in the future but I can sure tell everyone with Hummer USA is walking on egg shells..

Hummer's (china) new goal is 20mpg or greater, and under 40000.00 new,,,,,so do the math,,makes terrible sense doesn't it........where does that leave the H2 crowd,, ????? where that H2 extended bed was FantasyLand......
