125k and 3rd gear in tranny went out. Took it to a dealership...3600 dollars later had a rebuilt 100k warranty tranny in place. Now I have this annoying rattle from underneath. Happens when I take off mostly but you can put it in neutral and it stops. Got under there today and looks like there is a metal plate between the bell housing and the motor that might be the culprit. Its not loose but you and flip it with the end of your finger and it makes that type sound. Anyone had any dealings with such?

Is it round???? What is this thing for?? I have a small leak there.

 

must be missing a bolt in the lower half of the bell housing that holds it in place. It should not move enough to make a noise if all the bolts are installed.
