Well boys, when in need build your own.

WOW! That looks fantastic. Great job!
|
where do you get the dimpled C channel stock?
|
Made a drawing of what I wanted, sent it off for a quote, had a company in Florida do it, had them in 9 days. Friend cut the brackets on water jet.
|
not bad. could probably do the same for the rock rails.
and have yourself a side Hussle selling unobtainium at a fair price |
These are gorgeous. Nice work!
Stainless? If not, are you powdercoating them? Source for the machine shop metal work please? |
Made drawings myself, friend water jetted plates mild steel, 14 gauge metal step was done by Metal Mayhem in Florida from my drawing. They are at powder coat now. Should get then back Tuesday.
|
Thanks for the info. Not many people are capable of making something this nice.
Just out of curiosity, how did you attach the brackets (plates) to the step? Tack welded or some other way? Can't see anything in the pic, so guessing they are tacked on from underneath in 3 or 4 spots? |
My steps attach to the rock rails where the round factory steps attach. The round ones get removed. I will post pics when installed
|
OK, but how did you attach the vertical mounting brackets that are part of the step, to the horizontal step itself?
