Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

I’m impressed, is this finish glossy or flat?

There is a similar vehicle on another forum with a slightly darker shade of the same color. Had the brand stuck around this color would have definitely been introduced as it works very well on our trucks.

I’m sure the paint job was at least 10k, but what I’m curious about is all the rubber. Did you replace every piece of rubber you removed? If so did you find generic brands or did you order everything through GM. How about the roof seal rubber?

Eventually mine will get a repaint but I see that pretty far off in the future, despite my poor paint - it’s doing it’s job and protecting the metal underneath and it doesn’t make sense quite yet with me taking the truck through trails and what not scratching it up.

It was sprayed with the Predator paint so it has a rough finish. I was able to refit all of the rubber without having to purchase anything. I did have to buy the new black door handles as the shop felt uneasy about painting the existing handles. Also had to purchase a new black hood louver with handles since mine was cracked. I like the Black Rhino Wheels and had all of the exterior lighting changed out to LED.

Next project is to replace the door and sunroof rubber. Truck still runs solid. I am pleased with the final product.

It looks fantastic, what size are those rims? They look like the test rims AM General used on the mule long bed H2s spied a decade back.

Also what DRL lights to you have in place? They look like they are flush or stick out a little of the plastic valence, I like the look.

The rims are 20's with 35's Toyo RT Open Country. Had them all Road Force Balanced which makes a huge difference. The DRL lights fit flush like the originals.

That is a damn good paint job and color as well. I love the wheels!
