Eric,
You need to get a hold of DAGKANA or me. We know a couple of guys who have done this lift to their own trucks. We can hook you up with them. They are H2 lift experts and can answer all of your questions. Like this H2 ? Attachment 13823 Or this one ? Attachment 13824 They're both on 41" tires Went wheelin with the maroon one last Saturday. It dwarfs my H3. Attachment 13825 |

you say no real benifits of the lift...wouldn't I gain ground clearance in snow? :D I really just want to make my rig look bigger & badder!
Body lift- obviously raising up the body off the frame. Only way your going to get additional ground clearance is w/ larger tires. Inexpensive body lift or suspension lift both give you that capability. You will probably have $3500 in the suspension lift installed. Your running w/ 37's now, 2" body lift would look pretty damn good. Any larger and you will need big brake kit 6-8G, HD steering 2G, gears 2-3G, plus other mis parts. Your at the line where every thing is still releatively inexpensive. |

no, all your axles, drive train staying in the same place, just increasing the space between them and the frame. Your basically picking the frame up to allow larger tires w/ any of the suspension lifts.

Lift
I put coil in spacers 4"
an I just adjusted torsion bolts all the way in ..I have 37" no problems I might rub a little on the inside frame but I'm one of those people raised not to lock steering wheel ..I'm already up from factory height about 6" total (4" spacers an +2" tire size from 35's to 37" ). I'm thinking about installing a six inch lift fab tech but there going to take out what I did an I will be the same .. I will have to make sure before I commit ...but if so I will probable go with a body lift an save $3k |
