Default Suggestions For Improved Handling

I have a 2008 H2 that has nearly 100k miles. I used to love the stock handling characteristics of the H2. Over the years, the miles have taken it's toll. I decided last spring to replace the shocks with new factory replacement shocks. It helped, but still does not perform as well as when it was new.

Any suggestions, beyond aftermarket shocks, that might help improve handling?

Thanks,

Michael

I see people putting hellwig swaybars on them. Not sure what difference that makes on a rig like this. Else, I put kryptonite tie rods on, with a good alignment, that helped keep everything feel tight. YMMV.

Have you rebuilt the front end? You are probably due for Ball joints, Idler arm, tie rods and so on.

I agree with everything above. Also replace the anti-swaybar end links. Those make a huge difference in how it handles turns.

Tires, tires, tires then front hubs.

If it is that bad then as everyone has said you need to go through the entire front end, from the hubs and everything in between those. I replaced all of my steering components with Moog Heavy Duty parts with a Bilstein stabilizer and everything is so tight its ridiculous. Parts are relatively cheap but if you're doing the work yourself be prepared for a battle.

I still need to do all my from A-arm bushings.
