seat belt chime

I would cut the wires that go into the seat belt buckle and tie them together. I should complete the circuit and now more chime or flashing light.
However I would test this theory first by running a jumper wire to see it is in fact the fix.

calif phil..the best way to make it stop is to wear your seatbelt. Havent you seen all the vids of people being thrown out of their car during a roll over

Yeah I know. I should wear it all the time. I wear it 90% of the time but I live in a small town and my commute is 1 mile to work and back and I am lucky if I see one car in the morning. I guess I will have to buckle up more.

For starters, before I get flamed, there is no mandatory seat belt law in NH.
That being said, I just use just the metal cut-off end (not the strap part)of seat belt and plug it in. I found one off an Escalade fit my 05 and 07 and am guessing many other models will as well, or just order a Hummer one from GM etc... The 08 and 09 H2 are different (smaller size)..
