Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
I apologize in advance...I am a newly divorced(30 yrs) woman that's just trying to fix some things on my car to make it decent enough to trade it in. It breaks my heart because I have had my 2006 H2 since 2008 and she(yes, it's a she) has given me almost 186,000 miles of driving pleasure and kept myself and 3 children safe. The button that you press to change the transmission gears has been gone for a long time...just had to stick my finger in there and press it with no problems. I now have the replacement "button" and have Googled and spent too much time on Youtube looking for how to install it. The man at the auto part store said it would be very easy.....Can anyone point me in the right direction....
I think it would be easier if you carefully unclip the new chrome button part from the black piece and then snap it into your handle. Or try and slide the leather cover back and see if there is a way to unclip the endcap and pull the whole assembly out.
