Replacement Rear Coil Springs, Put On Wrong Way Round
I have just had the rear air ride replaced with GM stock coil springs.
The spring with the tag that says 'Right' is on the drivers side and the spring which is labeled 'left' is on the passenger's side.
I feel safe to say, English is not the first language in India and even though as a population there are more geniuses in India than the entire population of Britain (because country is so heavily populated), those who became mechanics were not in the genius demographic.
My questions are.......
Can I still drive the care safely until I can get to a mechanic?
What happens if springs are not changed soon?
Thanks

I'm not sure about how these are labeled but...... in the U.S we call the drivers side, a right hand drive...... Meaning it is on the right as when viewed from the front looking rear. They would have done better if they were labeled driver and pass....... No probes till they get switched imo if needed at all.

Agreed....but budryzer (above) was a bit confused about sides.
He said "in the U.S we call the drivers side, a right hand drive" because he was looking at the car from the front.
In a US car, like here, it is a left hand drive car and the left side is the drivers side.
We all know that know. Hi 5.
Regarding the springs, there is a left and right side spring.
There is a slight difference in these springs so that is why they have the (left/right) ID tag / Part number.
This is to ensure they are put on the correct side of the truck.
