Rear tire harness T Tap normal? 05 H2 SUV
 

The tire harness light has 2 T Taps that run across the rear bumper into the electric box. Is this normal on 05 H2 SUV? I looked for a normal connector but couldn't find anything for it to plug into.

Not normal - no factory vehicle uses taps like that as they permanently damage the wires and make a piss poor connection. You can even see where the wire is now corroding (green coming out), swelling and splitting the insulation and travelling up the wire. Those type of connectors are failure prone garbage. Someone added a light up hitch cover or some other sort of light up thing or maybe a backup camera power at some point and just did it in the cheapest, fastest, and most amateur way possible.
