Hello all! I recently acquired a bumper core and corner caps for an ‘06 and up H2 for a paltry $75. One of the corners on my 05 is cracked and I thought I could just swap the corners out for the newer style. At a glance it looked like they would fit...it wasn’t until I had the whole bumper off that I realized the core is different. I had wanted to keep my original core because it wasn’t as scratched up...
Ok, no big deal, I’ll have the core painted (possibly color matched to the body?) and just install it as a whole. Does anyone know if I will run into any more fitment issues mounting the newer bumper assembly on the older model? Has anyone else done this swap?

Ok update... I now believe this is actually from an SUT model. Still looks like it will fit... but it’s s a different part. Anyone ever seen an SUT bumper on a regular H2?
I may just turn around and sell it. This might be more trouble than its worth.

It’s a little different but not much. From what I can tell it would bolt up and fit fine. The core seems to mount in the same spot. The only real difference is the corner caps are taller and cut to fit the bumper core differently than the standard version.
