Default Windshield molding...

I had this problem. It was the top center portion of the windshield moulding/gasket flapping in the air turbulence at the top of the windshield at high speeds.

Default Rattle

Mine also rattles when I'm driving at a high speed. Drives me crazy! Going to try seeing if it is the windshield needing sealant.

I fixed it awhile ago. It was the 2 black side pieces like I read about. I just pulled them off and used that 3m double sided adhesive and fixed. Its quiet as can be on the highway now

What two black side pieces are you referring to? Mine is sooo damn bad that I can't hear the radio. So bad, I'm about to trade it in. I can't find the cause. I've added in some gasket materials where I thought I found some rubbing, but it didn't help.

I had the same problem over 65 M.P.H. I cured it with a thin bead of clear silicone at the sides of the windshield under the black rubber, I thought it was the roof racks for the longest time and finally removed them only to find out it wasn't. DOH!

That makes sense. I know it's coming from something that is very close to the glass. It sounds like something rattling on the glass on the passenger side. Thought I found it yesterday and installed some gasket material with adhesive and put it back together only to find out I had only quieted it down some. I'm going to put the clear silicone in the corners. That sounds like it would work. Damn sure can't hurt anything. It's bad enough like I said, that I was just going to go get an '08 or '09 and deal with it. Only have 49,000 on this one and hated to do it. May do it anyhow if I can find a good one.

My dealer said there is a TSB for the AC lines causing this problem. They said they adjusted them, so we'll see! I'll test it tomorrow.
