Default Problems with 05 h2

Hello all,
Its been a couple years since i sold the 06, im planning on buying another h2 since i loved the truck so much, as they say there's nothing like it. Im thinking an 05 h2 or 06, 07. As i have a budget and the 08 and 09 are still to much. Anyone have any common problems with the 05. I see alot of them being available. Are way to low miles a warning sign?? see some with 30 -40 thousand miles. Did the 05 have electrical problems?? ive heard that before. Any help is good

I think the '05 still had the old style mirrors that were prone to fail. They might have been replaced already so it's probably not an issue. The On star will not work anymore unless they had it upgraded to digital. Other than that I don't think there is anything wrong with them.

I remember when i took the 06 in for service the tech told me i was lucky to have gotten the 06 because the older ones had electrical issues. Is there any truth to that other then the mirrors. I thought it was due to water leaks?? Also do all the hummers have the air compressor feature?? i dont think the 06 SUT had it, i dont remember it. I would like that if i can get it. Overall just want to get a truck with minimal problems. No electrical stuff in which anyone will be hurt. What are the 05 and 06 going for these days with about 50,000 miles or lower

My '03 had the rear air suspension and my '06 does not. If you want simple you are better off without the air suspension. I would not hesitate to buy an '03 to '05 model.

The Adventure Package had Air Spings in the back, the Luxury Package did not.

I have an 05 and I've never had any electrical issues. Water leak from lights on roof and bolts breaking off manifold and wind noise from windshield are all common issues with the 05 and prob other yrs too. I'm very happy with my 05 h2. I only have 68k miles on it.

I see, I should have phrased it this way; The air suspension was Standard on the Adventure Package. It was offered as an Option on the Luxury Package.

Thanks for all the great input so far. When im looking around to buy again what should i be looking for. I know the mirrors on the 05 also possible leaking of water from the lights on top not to mention cracked bolts on the manifold. Im learning alot here. Besides normal wear and tear issues on a used truck what other thing should i be looking for to beware of. Any info is good

I would look to buy one that is close to stock condition. Modified for off road means it probably spent it's life in the dirt.
