New 7" round headlight roundup from HR.
One thing for those not aware (beyond the obvious that HR and others rarely if ever mention an H2 in a 7" headlight review) is that the inner headlight bucket on our H2's generally will require some cutting to fit aftermarket LED headlights. That being said, it is very easy, not visible, and still allows the terrible stock headlights to be re-installed just fine so dont be scared. Just stay away from the garbage ones please... also please do NOT stick aftermarket LED bulbs in your stock housings as they are NOT designed for that and while you might produce more light you are also blinding the snot out of everyone else on the road.

Excellent post. I'm a T3 survivor, that lit up the country roads. Back when I started driving in the 70's, it was all the same. Now, I rarely drive at dark.

MFGS probably dont mention Hummers because they are old and over rated LOL, on most cars and motorcycle I have converted to LED Headlight I have always had to cut or modify the basket or wiring.
but here is the cuts I made on mine and while could go back to stock that will be a never.. Improvement is to good. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.hum...0dd3f1a0f8.jpg ground one high tab, two new guide indentations and a hole for the breather |
