Nerf bars - remove stock rock sliders?

So I have a 2003 H2, stock rock sliders are roached - rotted out on ends, look real bad. Does anyone make an aftermarket set of nerf bars that don't require the stock sliders? Been looking around and can't find any, they all seem to require the stock sliders to bolt to. Thanks for any advice!

Amp Research making a folding step. It's about the most expensive option, but it's one that fits your needs.

N-Fab makes a "replacement" rocker bar that has steps built in, as well.

That's all I know off the top of my head.

Save the money on the Amps, they are riddled with issues some members have stated.

Go with the NFabs, they look awesome on H2's. I was going that route until I found a couple sets of U-steps.

Does the NFabs connect to factory mounting locations? Based on their install video, it looks like they do, but the video is generic and obviously not showing a H2.

Not sure, I pulled their site to hopefully find a .pdf for the install instructions and could not. Best bet would be to give them a call unfortunately.

No they do not use the factory mounts. One reviewer stated that 24 holes need to be drilled....

Read the reviews on the Amazon link....

Aside from the factory U steps though, I do think they look very very good and just as Lojac, had I not gotten a set of factory U step, drilling or not, the N fab steps were my next choice.

I know this thread is like 3 years old now but I have had AMPs for 6 years and haven't had a single issue. I love them.
