So the next oil change I'll go back to mobile 1 but use 10w-40.

my oil pressure is fine on my 08 but tried Royal Purple and now my engine is a little noisier than before when I used Mobile 1 religiously. Going back to Mobile 1 next time. My 05 I use a blend of synthetic and conventional castro oil It is just a tad below 40 at idle. While driving in summer for trips of over an 1-1.5 hrs it will drop down to 30 at idle.

I have always used Mobil1 in all my vehicles here in AZ where it is hot as the surface of the sun. My H2 has never had an issue, nor did I think to ever run thicker oil.
