My 2009 Hummer H2 Sedona Metallic **PICS**
Yeah but that UAE one is not a product made by GM or AMG. That is a one off build from a custom shop.
The HX concept on the other hand was built by GM but it was never sold. Incredibly rare that any auto manufacturer every sells a true "concept" vehicle as the liability is huge and they are not qualified by the USDOT as a production vehicle. Very very few concept cars from major manuafacturers end up in private hands. The few rare examples are generally sold for a charity event and rendered inoperable before being transferred to the private party.
A rare recent example was Ford sold the 2004 Shelby Cobra concept car at auction. However they rendered it undrivable. "NOTE: FOR LIABILITY PURPOSES, FORD MOTOR COMPANY WILL RENDER THE CAR COMPLETELY NOT DRIVABLE, HOWEVER, THE ENGINE WILL REMAIN FUNCTIONAL. SPECIFICALLY, BEFORE AUCTION, FORD MOTOR COMPANY WILL REMOVE COMPONENTS AND PERFORM OPERATIONS TO DISABLE THE DRIVETRAIN PERMANENTLY. THESE PRECAUTIONS MUST BE TAKEN SINCE THE CAR NEVER WENT INTO PRODUCTION."

I'd kill for a recent GM one. The Buick Avista. They made at least 2 of them in 2016 (burgundy and blue). Won awards at Pebble Beach and whatnot but Cadillac and Chevy supposedly got pissy about it because they thought it would take too many sales away from the Camaro and ATS (it was built on the same Alpha platform). Truly a gorgeous body design in my opinion (I did not like the interior much though) that sadly was axed even though every single event and show that GM brought it to, it was raved about and won awards. http://www.autoconception.com/buick-...r-of-the-year/ On the plus side, there are now rumors floating around that Buick might very well move forward with the Avista concept as a 2021 or 2022 model.

Nice - forgot about that one. That is one of the rare occasions a concept vehicle does get sold. Just not with an ability to title it or make it truly road legal (and probably with a bunch of other stipulations that the studios have to abide by). Always thought it would be super cool to get ahold of a rare concept vehicle but then you would be near terrified to drive it since there are zero replacement parts available. lol I know on many of them ones manufacturers make now, many of the parts are 3D printed too.
Still many concepts at the GM Heritage Center What were they thinking with the firebirds (I, II, III) and the astro III?

Yeah some were pretty wild. That Astro III would probably be a blast to drive though. Bizarre that the "Astro" name ultimately ended up as a minivan after those concepts. lol
The Heritage Center has a ton more vehicles than what they show on the website too, many just in back room storage that never get publicly seen.

Currently shows 165:The General Motors Heritage Center serves as a showplace for the vehicles of the GM Heritage Collection, as a corporate conferencing and special events venue, and as the permanent home for the corporation’s collection of historic literature and artifacts which document GM’s rich history of innovation. Located in an 81,000 square foot facility in Sterling Heights, Michigan, the Center has more than 165 vehicles on display. Each of the vehicles in the Collection illustrates a design, technical or sales milestone or accomplishment in the history of General Motors or automotive history.
