Mirror problem

I have a 04 h2 & ended up buying a 07 h2 complete interior with mirrors made the swap Now the mirrors only open but doesn't close or move up down or side to side on both sides any idea on what it can be. I checked the connectors i put the main switch on the driver side from the 07 h2 as well and nothing.

ps. They were working fine before i took them off the 07. And mines were only working closing not opening but they both had side to side and up down movements before i took them off. No longer have my old ones. Any suggestions plz.

MOVED to the H2 section where all H2 Tech Questions go.

If you could share some pictures of the mirror mechanisms and their connectors I may be able to help.

Information about 07 units is hard to find, there could well be some technical differences, got loads of info on the earlier units but zero on the later ones....

The connector views may help, but I suspect there may be differences between the actual mirror motor mechanisms inside the outside-mirror casing, you'd have to pop the mirrors out and unscrew the mechanisms.

The 07 DDM may also be different.

Below is an '05 RH mirror motor, you can virtually trace the wiring and see exactly how it functions electronically, a similar picture of the 07 could well provide an answer.

Having fully reversed engineered the DDM, mirror PCBs etc so have lots of information about this generation, but the 07 I have zero information, it could well be totally different mechanically and electronically.

Perhaps some of the other members know about 07 power mirrors?
