Default MAF required for a new Volant CAI?

I am looking to purchase a new Volant CAI for my 05 Hummer H2. Looks like there are two types available, with and without the Mass Airflow Sensor and the difference in price is almost $350. Can I just use the MAF from the old stock intake assy or do I need tp spend the additional $350 for the MAF that comes with the volant kit? Thanks!

I am using a Diablo Predator U7193 on my 04 H2. Diablo prefers using a stock MAF so I sold my Granatelli MAF and went back to stock on my Volante. Used the extra money ($58.00) on a custom tune by Lew at DiablewTune. http://eprowebdesigns.com/DiabLew_Tune/
The difference is amazing, much quicker off the line and mileage went from 12.2 mpg to 13.3 mpg.(city) I am also running with a Helix T.P. throttle body spacer on 325/60/20 Terra Grapplers. Unless you did a lot of modifications, stick with the stock one. Hope this helps.
