Default Last detail before winter

WE had a great day here in NH today! I washed up the Hummer and gave her a last detail before the cold weather comes in.

Ever consider putting a brush guard on your H2?

wow, it does look nice. and you could use a chrome brush guard for it. and it just so happens that i know where you can get one in good shape, cheaper than from the dealer (not sure about shipping though). i notice you even got the undercarriage clean, do you use something special under there, or get under and wipe it down?

looks like you already have some chrome surrounds for the side lights but could use some for the door handles. i happen to know where to find those too. couldn't see the back, do you have chrome louvre covers? just so happens that i know a guy . . . . .

Efrain, yes that is a reflection of my work truck. I have thought of a brush gaurd but not sure if I want one or not. I like the look with out one too.

Shortbus, Geez, you know alot of guys with alot of stuff!
I always clean my wheel wells out with a long handle brush and use Eagle1 A to Z tire and wheel cleaner, works great. Detailing is a hobby of mine. I enjpy washing, cleaning and polishing. I Frequent a great detailing website forum called Autopia http://autopia.org/
If your into car detailing or just need some waxing or polishing info check it out! Good site!

thanks for the heads up, it would be nice to have a picture of the bus clean for a change, not just on the yellow parts. at least i don't have chrome to polish . . .

Polishing chrome is no big deal just like polishing the paint. Thanks for the heads up on those parts. I think I'm all set for a while. I like alittle bit of chrome. Some of those H2s with all the chrome extras doesn't look good to me, too much Bling for me!!!

I agree with you on that. A little bit of chrome is okay, but not too much chrome.
