Is the battery dead?

That's a good one tharber, No my battery is not dead, my key just decided that it wasn't going to turn anymore and it's got me stumped? I even tried all my spare's that were cut from the dealer and none of them are working either. I need to get the key to turn to the on position to release the cylinder but can't get the dam thing to turn.

Wasn't being a smart a$$. The only time that happened to me, my battery was dead from leaving the fog lights on.

Maybe a faulty starter?

Its the lock cylinder. It will start with auto start, but I can't turn the key. The tumblers must have came apart inside the cylinder so now its time to force it out. Just went and bought a used one out of a salvage truck for 5 bucks. Just need to get this one out and plug the other in. Only problem now is that I will have two different keys to the truck, not that its a big deal. The dealer wanted $69.00 for the cylinder, $7.00 for the key and $115.00 for one hour to key the cylinder to my vehicle. Not on my watch!

I had the same problem. It turned out to be a broken wire in the shift console. I took the console apart and replaced the one broken wire back into the harness, It is a simple fix. I know others have had the same problem since I got the fix on this site along with a diagram of the wiring harness.

All is good. Got the old tumbler out and put the salvage one in and all is fine now. Sorry it took so long to reply about the fix, but I bolted as soon as it started. I was already two day,s late.

Just wondering what you found with the old lock cylinder?
