2003 H2. This may sound a bit silly, but the light in the vanity mirror on the passenger side sun visor is out. I have it at the dealership right now for an unrelated issue (the cruise control needs a new brake control module) and I asked them to replace it. They called and told me that they have to replace the entire sun visor as the bulb is not a replaceable item. ??? Is that right? I have all the service manuals and it shows how to replace the bulb (no problem), but then there seems to be no mention of what kind or type of bulb you need. They want about $300 for a new visor (and yes, I can order a new OEM one from elsewhere for less), but the visor is in perfect shape otherwise. My wife isn't too keen on using a flashlight when putting on eyeshadow, if you know what I mean. Any help? Absolutely LOVE the Hummer though and never had any big issue with it (NOT that the vanity mirror light is a big issue .

 

Saw on another thread an H3 that did LED swap. I posted there havent got a reply yet. I will post the findings. Found some super small LEDs on ebay gonna try out.
