Owned my H2 for almost a year but just realized I dont have a key for the roof racks..E002. Anybody want to sell me a copy? Also is the roof light bar identical to the roof rack bar?

You can get the key from the thule website. they transposed the first letter for a "U" I think instead of an "E" . I ordered mine from them for about 7 bucks w/ shipping.

Might have been a different letter but I think its u.

 

^thule or a dealership can order it for you. I think I paid $12 for a pair of keys for mine from the dealership up the road from me.

Got the keys, popped off one of the end caps to realize there's no point to them and never used the keys since.

 

Thanks guys, went to a local GMC dealer, they said no chance, nearest dealer with them in stock was in Vermont, could ship them for $17 per key, plus freight. Got it from GM parts online for 10 bucks

Got the GM part number from the dealer, I'm sure you can find it here through search, then went to GMPartsGiant.com

Yes, marked right next to where you insert the key

 

There's a really cool dude on one of the other forums that will provide you a key at no cost, he just likes helping out the HUMMER crowd.

To answer the OP's other question---yes, the lightbar is the same as the roof racks, just has a hole drilled in the bottom for the wiring harness. The light brackets mount in the top groove where the long rubber strip is in the regular roof rack. There are shortened plastic strips that fit in between the light mounts.
I happen to have a black light bar (has mounts, no lights) that I'd be willing to sell if anybody is interested.

 

Thanks Twin, the reason I asked was that I ended up with an extra roof rack (3) and was thinking what to do with it, when the light bar came to mind.
