Default H2 remains the safest in my book

I was just involved in an accident a couple hours ago. I was traveling down a road approx 30-35 when a young woman in an Infinity made an illegal left turn across in front of me. Despite having brand new brakes there was nothing I could do. She received a summons for careless driving and taken to the hospital. The four of us walked away with one bruise on my fiancee's leg where it hit the lower dash. For legal reasons I think it best that I don't include pictures of her car.

My truck though.... leaking antifreeze so I didn't drive it away.

The impact was a direct t-bone into her drivers door... which was ripped off... and sent her across two lanes over a curb and into some grass.... facing the opposite direction... the hummer stood inplace...

Her first concern was where was her phone... which I found laying between lanes 1 and 2... ironically I found it after a h3 ran over it.

Then she asked if I was ok.

Man glad to hear your all ok, that still looks like around $4,000 worth of damage. Is your passenger's side running board damaged also? Looks like that's bent too. What nerve to not ask if your ok before checking for her phone. That $4,000 estimate was before I saw the damage first hand. I now make my estimate $9,500. It's going to need that much work.

Step is bent... good eyes Trey. Thanks for all the well wishes. We are fine. Like I said, one bruise and some anger issues (Me)

and yeah... the impact was more than it appears... hard enough to pop both of the air covers off...
