I never got mine to work but I also have not tried Mr. Orale's suggestion either. I will give a whirl tomorrow and reply back with my findings. Good luck.

 

im a bit lost, probably not the best spot to ask but why not i suppose. i dont think the 03s had any power fold but ill ask.

did any of the 03's have power? my adventure doesnt look like it does, they fold easy enough by hand so im sure it doesnt have them but figured id ask anyway.

Try using your mirror buttons as if it had the electric mirrors,if you hear a click like if it's trying to rotate then it means you do have an electric rotor.

Yes, my 2003 has or should I say had power fold for both. Then they both seized and were fine for 3 years, then they had to be manually folded, now they flop. Undoubtedly the motors rusted and the gears are now broken/stripped.

Where are people obtaining new ones? GMpartsdirect.com want $460 for the driver and $380 for the passenger. There seem to be some aftermarket sources that say they are just as good for about $300 each - anyone have any experience with aftermarket or know a better source for OEM?
