H2 cruise control not even turning on
I recently purchased a 2007 H2 and have noticed that the cruise control won't even turn on. When I flip the switch on the turn signal, I get no response or light on the dash or anything else. And hitting the button to set the speed does nothing.
I tested the fuse labeled "CRUISE" on the left side of the dash and it is good. I also put in a new fuse just for good measure but still saw no response from the cruise control system.
I've searched the forums and it doesn't seem like a common problem. Any thoughts on what else to try before I bite the bullet and take it to the shop? Are there any other fuses related to the cruise control that I should check?

I fixed it. Turns out, the fuse labeled "BRAKE" which is right next to "CRUISE" was burned out. Replacing it fixed the problem.
So for future reference, there are TWO fuses in the interior fuse box that could lead to the cruise control not working.

On the upper brake pedal there is a black electrical box, and a wiring harness that plugs into that black box, i wiggled the harness that plugs in to the black box, and my cruise control started working again. Kind of hard to get in there, take a flashlight. I checked my fuse, and brake lights first. They were ok. I have a nice 05 H2 with 56k on it. I love that thing. Good luck.
