H2 3rd row conversion giving 8 seats on a pre 2008 model
Hi All,
In case anyone is interested, I thought I would share the details of my home project to convert my 2004 H2 into an 8 seater. I used the rear 3rd row seats and additional floor pan fixings from a GM SUV. I had the rear clamping bracket of the left seat shortened so the two seats fitted side by side. It is a very tight squeeze and take some manipulating to get the seats in! Gives another 3 seats, two with 3-point belts and a lap belt.http://www.flickr.com/photos/61230612@N07/5576268739/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/61230612@N07/5576266749/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/61230612@N07/5576274931/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/61230612@N07/5576260871/ |

questions are, do I still use the original 3rd row seat? what gmc model suv could I be looking at for the additional seat? could you be able to provide the rail attachment pictures? could really love to complete the whole 3rd row seat, kids are safer sitting by the back than middle row. much appreciated guys cheers |
What about a rear end collision? Middle row CENTER is the safest seat!
