Is it true that the H2 has the same frame and susoension as the tahoe?? Or just rumors because I want to buy one.

I'll answer.

I have had two Tahoes. I had my "original" Tahoe (01) totaled last year. Bought an H3 to replace the off-road capability. Bought another Tahoe this year, an 02.

In simple terms, to say that the H2 is a Tahoe with different sheet metal is in error. The Tahoe is closer to a Silverado than an H2. Just as the H3 is NOT a rebadged Canyon/Colorado.

Many good books detailing the design, prototype and build of the Hummer, I have the Edsall H3 book and it really explains the differences and details.

BTW, my H3 has 132K miles on it and drives like new, without any rattles, leaks, squeaks or hesitation. The Tahoe with 106K miles has a lot of rattles and squeaks, and kind of a sloppy front end. The H3 is my daily driver, and my off-road vehicle.

Drive a stock Tahoe through a 24" stream crossing once and you'll realize the difference pretty fast.

Not flame, no anger, I am happy to explain the differences without emotion. It is good that you asked, because now you are informed.

This guy owns and H1? Is he seriously asking that? Please SuperH1 guy, use the "SEARCH" function. It's in red just below "used cars".
