Default H-Line Diesel Conversions?

Thinking about getting a Duramax conversion from these guys. Has anyone had any experience with them? Any advice?

My 07 H2 is coming up on 200,000 and would like the improved mileage and torque for trailering in the mountains.

Thanks for any comments you guys have ...

I too was interested in them. Their kit looked great but I never managed to find anyone who actually went with them.

What's the cost? Will they let you supply your own donor parts?

You would likely have to call them to find out about that... I'd also assume the prices on their website are just general pricing and if you are serious about having them do the conversion there is certainly some wiggle room. If they procure the donor parts I'm sure the costs will also vary based on the age and mileage on the donor parts as well.

One thing that I'd also assume is if they provide the donor parts then they are responsible for them working 100% while if you were to provide the parts and something is not working when they install it all then that really gets things ugly. Since at that point you are now tying up their bay and they would have to go through you to find out about replacing or fixing whatever might be wrong.

They also sell a kit for you to do the conversion yourself, or to have your own garage or mechanic do the conversion. They show on their website $32500 as the lowest cost (Green 500hp package) and as much as $52000 (for the Red 850hp Package) for them to do it or $12500 for the full (not including the drivetrain) do it yourself kit.
