Error Codes U0073 + P0700
 

Hell group, new H2 owner here. I received my 2008 H2 Luxury yesterday and today I got a check engine light. I scanned using free tool and here's what I got. Looks like dealer cleared code but didn't fix problem before shipping me the vehicle. any suggestions?

Code U0073 is typically caused by one of the following:

• A faulty control module
• A problem with the CAN bus

Code P0700
Shorted or open circuit Transmission Control Module (TCM)
Faulty Transmission Control Module (TCM)

taking truck to mechanic tomorrow, hopefully doesn't cost me arm and leg. Thank you.

Wait for it.$$$$$$$.. I would pull the tcm connector, inspect wiring/contacts, and then repair/clean contacts, then clear codes.
Chances are, your mechanic will sell you a tcm and if greedy, a transmission too? Post an update after you get it repaired.
