Compressor Tire Inflator
#17
Ok, I'm a newbie having just purchased a 2005 H2 with the adventure package. The tire inflator location is missing the cover and I have no idea if I have that option. Is there any way I can confirm whether I have it? If I don't, where can I purchase a cover for the hole or possibly have the option installed aftermarket? Is this a possibility? Sorry for the basic questions.

If you have air ride suspension, you have the tire compressor already in your H2.
Crawl underneath, and you will see the bottom of a large metal pan about 1x2' with large holes in it. Thru the holes, you can just see the air compressor. And air bags on your rear suspension.
The hole you speak of should have a bezel with the power switch and air valve located there. at the rear of the RR inside quarter panel, near hatch. The H2 came with about 20' of air hose with pressure gauge, and various inflation attachments in a black vinyl bag. If you do not have air ride, there is either no hole or hole is filled in with block off plate.
