Check your bump stops
 
When I was installing my starter and crawled underneath I noticed my bump stops were completely disintegrated! Look at the photo for the difference between old and new

Yep and the front ones on our H2 are critical. It actually rides on them all the time. You should notice that it behaves better on smaller bumps now....

wait till you replace the rears... if the whole thing does not fall off from the chassis.

Like $22 each on eBay for the GM replacements, I used part number 15835667

yep. Just replaced my stops while doing front break job. Were just as bad but are easy to replace.
