Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default Can't figure this out

Soooo, this will be long

I have been getting replacement parts to do some preventive maintenance...

I just recently replaced the fuel injectors, and Coils and wire harness for the Coils on my 06 H2, both oem gm...

now to the confusion

I bled what air i could out of the rails, attempted to start her numerous times, with just what felt as 1 cylinder fire then no start, no big deal I thought, just air... after like 20 attempts I decided to grab my scanner to see if I could run the fuel pump...

As I was connecting it was almost like it reset something, cause the dash gauges went up and down... kinda normal? So I decided not to run fuel pump

Well, the next attempt to fire her up she started like it did prior to any replacement... odd, felt good, nice response, I thought awesome!!! Glad I did all this...

Welllll, not so fast haha... once she warmed up I started getting horrible idle and misfires... bank 2 25% fuel trim...

Cylinder 6 misfire the worst... put my old injectors back on, no change... put old coil on #6 , no change...

I have no clue ...

then as I was diagnosing, I hit the heat core hose and broke off the plastic pos end haha... so I'm waiting for a part and I wanted to ask for any advice or help...

sorry this is long I wanted to give details...

I see where you said they are all OEM GM items, if they where not purchased directly from either a dealer or a GM parts outlet I would check the wiring in detail.

if the parts where purchased from amazon they might be fake OEM gm parts. that happened to a friend of mine that had purchased "NEW OEM" toyota amazon injectors for his camry. they over fuled and he had -25 trims for fuel. you could smell the excess raw fuel in the exhaust. the new injectors where just dumping fuel. he also had to change the oil as the pcv system was sucking the oil/gas vapors and still causing slight overfueling even after putting real OEM injectors. he changed the oil and his fuel trims came back to normal.

I can only find 1, a ground strap on the back of the engine drivers side that bolts to firewall

I purchased my parts from rock auto and a gm online parts store... I hate these counterfeit crap, I had a few things I bought end up fake in the past... unfortunately I can't find much oem gm parts at dealerships and have to resort to online ...

Yeah, that is doing work for the sport of it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it is what my Grandfather used to tell me. Every time I bent his advice, it would come back to haunt me. Now that I am older, I no longer do work for the sport of it.
