My climate control display suddenly stopped working - nothing in the unit lights up - and I have no a/c as a result. I have checked the hvac fuses in both the interior and under the hood. I also checked to make sure there is power at the fuses. All checked out fine.

Is there anything I can do short of a trip to the dealer. I have moderate automotive skills (on carburetor-ed cars).

Its a 2004 Hummer H2.

I ended up taking it to the dealer. They replaced the whole a/c controller. Cost about $700. If you can purchase the part your self, it looks like an easy swap. Like replacing the head unit on a stereo.

 

hello, my 2005 H2 had the same problem : H2 AIR CONDITIONING Module burned !
I m looking for another module, appears to be the same problem like you
