Don't these require the special lugs?

I have a set of these in 18" (different offset than what you need, I think) & normal lugs won't fit & are you too shallow. As well, you can't fit a normal socket in, so they are provided.

Mine were similar to these, but obviously a different depth to accommodate the offset.

I think I got my rims from 4wheelparts. I believe they can at least help you with the offset & lugs you need. Obviously buy from whoever is the cheapest, but at least you can get some reliable info that way.

Thanks for the advise and the link ... Already put the Wheel/Lug Nuts on my wish list ... Is there any disadvantage in replacing the Oem Lug nuts

Do you know if the 1 offset is pushing the wheel far from the hub or opposite

While searching I was learning some imp things . I just realized the Offset is the most or only important part of the wheel measures ....

NOw my next question is .. What is the OEM Wheels offset for the H2 ... I found many different answers but noone seems to agree

Not to my knowledge.

Aftermarket lugs will hold as long as they are installed correctly. The reason you can't use them with the fuel wheels is due to the offset, at least in my case. Only a special thin wall socket would work. Luckily, it comes w/ the lug set.

The benefit of this is that unless someone is walking around w/ that socket, they cannot steal your wheels & tires.

I agree & disagree. The stock H2 wheels being 8.5" wide really screws people with larger sizes. 325/60r20 won't fit on the stock 20" wheel. Considering it's a very common size, that's rather annoying. If GM went with a 17x9 or 20x9, most if not all tires would fit until you hit a 14.5" wide tire (38x12.5r18 or 20)

In general though, you're right in terms of actually making sure you don't have any tire rub issues.

The duramax forum & diesel place (along with others) both claim this:

Hummer H2 Wheels:
Size: 17" x 8.5"
Bolt Pattern: 8x6.5
Off-set: 18 MM
Backspacing: 5.5"

What data are you getting?

My Method wheels are the same, lug holes are very tight. Tirerack included special lugs and a thin wall socket. Even with the thin wall socket it chewed up the pain on the inside of the lug holes.

I bought another set of splined lugs off ebay because they are considerally thinner due to their design. With the special socket they require it doesn't come close to touching the lug hole walls. This is the second set of splined lugs I've used and never had an issue.

They come in chrome and chrome black:
