Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
I am refreshing my new H2 and trying to to remove all rust while i wait for my new brake lines to come in. I have sanded my bumper, roll bar and nerf bars, then coated with rust converter. They are rust pitted and don't look too great after the first two coats of rustoleum finish. I tried matte and satin. I have tried a duplicolor primer filler, rustoleum hammered finish, but none cover.
Can anyone recommend anything that would work well in hiding the defects besides ordering a $200+ bedliner kit? Also is bedliner any good as i read it traps moisture.
I did similar for my entire underboady/frame with rust converter and now ready to spray with rustoleum matte black rust paint. If anyone has any objections, please speak up
