Bumper lights
 

I want to replace the lights in my bumper with something brighter and better to look at. Any suggestions? I have low mechanic skills. So plug and play works best.

I went with these in my lower bumper lights in RED then the same bulbs in WHITE for the reverse lights. Highest lumen ratings I could find for a decent price.


3157 / 3157 High Power LEDs, 23x5630 SMD, Red

I just swapped out my upper brake lights two days ago with these and they're incredibly bright, wayyy brighter than OEM. I just ordered two more sets yesterday for the rear turn signals and rear bumper lights for a full LED conversion.

Here is a picture while the brake is engaged. The left is the new LED, right is the incandesent OEM bulb. And at night with the parking lights on, the brake lights show up incredibly bright (which was a problem in the past when parking lights were on. The LED wouldn't get much brighter, but these do!)

LoJac, do you have the official IPCW corner lenses or the eBay ones above?

I saw those eBay ones the other day but was skeptical about their brightness in comparison to the real IPCW. (The IPCW is $108 shipped on Amazon, btw.)

I bought the actual IPCW flashers from Amazon. Honestly I'm sure they are the same thing though. They weren't going for those prices on Ebay last year when I bought them.

This is the light I am referring to.

Those are DRL's. I have 28mm long 68-SMD LED's in mine, but thinking of switching them out with 5630/CREE LED instead. The housing is only like 29 or 30mm deep, so I would recommend finding an LED that is equal to, or less than 28mm in depth.
