Broken rear exhaust bolts on both sides

You may be able to rockstar drill them.
If you are good.
My thread is a few posts down.
Thats what I am doing.
My buddy: " If you are going to pull the heads, may as well do a cam. If you are going to do a cam, may as well do an intake. And with all that, a tune. The car heads are lower CR so more Hp."
$4500 later. :-(

There are a lot of threads about broken mani studs on the various forums. The vast majority, basically everyone, does not remove the heads. Would it be easier? Most definitely but also a lot of unnecessary work as well.
Heads, cam, intake, while all that would be fun to do I don't think the benefits in such a vehicle are worth the time and money IMO. You still have a tranny that is in the wrong vehicle I think. Even with more horsepower you're still running through the stock gearing which honestly would play a more vital role in MPG. In my 06 GTO, heads, cam, intake mani-most definitely!
Many people have regeared and been very happy with the results. Although I' think this thread is going off on a tangent lol.

Seems like your anxious to remove a head?

If you are close to the Panhandle of FL, we can pull your heads in a day.
They will be at the machine shop for 2-3 days. Be about $200ish and that's clean, deck, valve job.
Then a day to put back together.
