Spoke w/ Ron Davis. apparently the electric fans were the wrong way to go, under load the mechanical fan will pull more air through the radiator than any electric fans could ever hope too. What a waste of effort and money. anyone want to buy an electric fan setup?

At least I saved the original one and the shroud.

 

Flex a lite pulls 6k cfm, so unless I am wrong, I don't see the clutch fan pulling more

 

I installed the radiator w/ the electric fans. the beast runs cooler at very low speeds and the a/c is colder. It was still getting hot when going up inclines while towing. I removed the electric fans, reinstalled the stock one and voila. Can't get engine temps above 203 degrees no matter what I'm pulling.

The seller on EBAY gave me a rough time but paypal ended up forcing him to take back the setup.

Maybe there is an electric fan setup that will work. I don't know. Ron Davis, Griffin and becool all agree that mechanical is the way to go for towing.
