I put those on the H2 a few months back and really like them. Same set on my Avalanche -- about a year ago on those and still stop very nice.

I just put on about two months ago... Stock GM Rotors and GM Pads at about 70K. Had to Panic stop last week... Doggie in the street. Doing about 45 MPH. Slammed them on..(NO ANTI SKID) action from the pedal. Stopped like I hit a brick wall..nice and smooth. Missed Doggie and owner chasing the doggie with the leash dragging behind. GM Good....

Adding them right now. Was thinking about the wilwood big brake kit but these seem solid. Replacing all the hard lines too. Had a rear one split.

CD & Slotted Rotors are not designed for heavy Trucks or Off Road. They are designed for track cars that do enough hard braking to need extra cooling and better grip in the wet. If it is a Pavement Princess, just perfect. If you wheel it, not so much. You won't be braking enough at hot corner entries and pads last longer without the slots.

Yep The Doc Is right... The GM Rotors I put on weighed a ton. Very Heavy and had that "FNC" coating which stops "LOT ROT" or rusting from the inside out. The GM Pads matched the rotor. They have excellent stopping power as I added in a post when slamming them on.

From DR. Google:
FNC brake coating, or Ferritic Nitrocarburizing, is a heat treatment process applied to brake rotors to enhance their performance, particularly regarding corrosion resistance and wear. It involves diffusing nitrogen and carbon into the rotor's surface, creating a hard, wear-resistant outer layer while maintaining a tough core. This process is commonly used to address challenges like brake rotor corrosion and pulsation, extending rotor life and reducing warranty costs.
