Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Another H2 Up for Duramax

One thing I'd like to see is to maybe come up with something to box the air filter in so that it pulls air from the fender like the stock airbox or any of the better aftermarket ones do. With the coolant reservoir and secondary battery the space is pretty limited though. I love the work regardless though!

I love following along with your builds, my Hummer is the same year and color. One tip. Years ago I used to own a turbo rebuilding shop. I would refrain from painting the inside of the compressor housing. Paint on the impeller can cause an unbalance and lead to premature wear.

I really like the orange colored parts, it will be nice when you open the hood to show it off. The black chassis is also very kool looking. Great Job!

Nice job. I'm on the fence about having mine converted to a duramax (or buying one already converted). Other than the cost, the primary concern is passing emissions in AZ. You won't get far here if it's not legal. The other option is a supercharger. The goal is to help with towing at elevation and up inclines to get to those elevations

I spoke with your friend about doing a swap from my 03' 2500 truck. I have an 08' H2 that I would like to swap but I want to end up with both units running and fully usable. I just bought a new truck to drive so these cars are available to rip into. I would really like to have an accurate idea on $$ of what its going to take to end up with them swapped and complete. While the body is off of the H2, I would want to clean everything up, upgrade the front end parts, do a better turbo housing and make it nice like you have for his wife. I would also like to have you look at the 6.6 and if it needs injectors or anything else "now is the time" while its out. Fix any leaks etc. (I understand that you won't know what we are into on this side of the project.

If you could give me a call sometime to discuss this in more detail, I am very interested.

Thanks,

Joe
